About us
A trusted Canon partner for over 40 years.
We’re a leading single-line Canon authorized dealer, headquartered in San Gabriel, CA, and serving organizations nationwide, from small businesses to large corporations.
Our story.
Copyfree started in 1979 in Alhambra, California, as a small business selling and servicing two copier brands. Over the years we carried nearly every major name in the industry, including Mita, Sharp, Toshiba, NEC, Ricoh, Panasonic and Okidata.
That experience taught us how the brands really compare. In 2001 we made a big decision: we dropped every other line and became a single-line Canon authorized dealer, because of Canon’s technology and market leadership.
In 2020, Canon U.S.A. congratulated us on 40 years of success. In 2021, we were accepted into Canon’s ATSP program, with over 75% of our service professionals certified, making us one of very few dealers in the U.S. with that status.
